Dare we say it is one of the most creative Soapbox races from the time when the wheel was invented to date? The first Croatian Soapbox Race was held at Split’s Marjan, and the goal was to come up with the most creative vehicle and use it to reach the finishing point. 150 applicants from all over Croatia came to show off the Croatian creative spirit and competitive force. Although the picture is worth a thousand words, the very names of the newly composed vehicles could give hint about the degree of innovation in the works. What can we say about the names like Flying Emil, GMO carrots, Fear & Contempt, Prison toilets, or Imotska beast ? In short, a great day in the history of Croatian motoring.
